Biography
Rainey Booth, Jr. has dedicated his professional career to pursuing justice for clients who suffered from abuse, neglect, and exploitation at the hands of healthcare and long-term care providers.
Prior to graduating magna cum laude from the University of Florida Frederic G. Levin College of Law, Rainey was a notes editor on the Journal of Technology Law and Policy and the recipient of four book awards for his academic accomplishments in courses, including Torts and Florida Civil Procedure. After graduation, Rainey was invited to join the University of Florida Chapter of The Order of the Coif based on his academic achievements in law school.
Throughout his professional career, Rainey has advocated for clients in Florida trial courts, Florida appellate courts, federal bankruptcy courts in both Florida and Texas, federal trial court, and federal appellate court. These cases have ranged in subject matters from state law personal injury claims arising from long term care abuse and neglect, to receiverships, to foreclosures, and even to complex bankruptcy disputes. Rainey’s advocacy to date has helped secure millions of dollars for his clients.
